As youngsters, we couldn't get enough of the beautiful interiors and regal charm of this 1700s castle. The staff were friendly and the food was delicious. We loved the short walk to Finnegan's Pub and the fantastic dinner at deVito's Restaurant. The dining room with damask napkins and tablecloths provided an elegant touch. The hot plates in the morning were a treat. The manager even went out of his way to drive us to the station when our taxi was late. The staff, especially Margaret on Reception, went above and beyond to help my elderly mother. Their kindness made our stay extra special.

We felt spoilt, there was truly nothing to complain about.

The location was simply breathtaking, surrounded by beautiful scenery and in an upscale suburban area. The hotel offered an array of amenities and services that enhanced my comfort and relaxation. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome with a refreshing drink and provided excellent service throughout my stay. The room was spacious, well-appointed, and had all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay, including air conditioning, ironing facilities, and a mini-bar. I particularly enjoyed the terrace with its stunning views and the in-room safe for added security. Additionally, the hotel had excellent dining options, including a restaurant and a bar/lounge area, where I enjoyed delicious meals and live music. The indoor swimming pool, sauna, and jacuzzi were perfect for unwinding and the well-equipped fitness studio allowed me to stay active during my stay. this place exceeded my expectations in terms of comfort, amenities, and service.

The room was spacious with a great sea view, and the bed was very comfortable. the hotel staff were friendly and helpful, especially the reception girls who assisted with arranging transportation. the breakfast had a wide variety of choices and the swimming pool looked inviting.

After 9.30 pm, the only food available was pizza from the bar, and on one occasion, the pizza oven wasn't working. the kitchen was closed and we had to settle for ham or cheese sandwiches, which felt limited.

The hotel is conveniently located near a train station, allowing easy access to Dublin. there is a long term car park next to the station, ideal for those traveling by car. The hotel is also close to a wonderful park with a nice playground, perfect for families.
